We are an awesome group of Year 5 and 6 students from Room 13 at Yendarra Primary School in Otara, Auckland. Our blog is a way for us to share our learning with the world and we hope you will enjoy reading and watching some of our fantastic work as we publish it. Please comment to tell us what you like and we will try to regularly update with lots of exciting learning! At the moment we are learning about Kiwiana so enjoy finding out about what we have learnt over the coming weeks...
Christina there are SO many great things about this recount, the way that you have written it, which is wonderful, the way in which you read it which is simply superb (I like the way you dealt with interruptions and didn't get put off!) What a great day Fiafia Day must have been!

I love your recount, Christina and really like the way you added in alliteration (Terrific Tongans and Creative Cook Islanders), your thought and feelings, speech and even a simile! What a star! *
ReplyDeleteWell done, Christina for sharing our wonderful Fiafia Day with the world in such a stunning way.
